Privacy policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This policy explains what data GridBlind, a game by MisterChire Studio, processes, what for and what rights you have. If anything is unclear, write to misterchirestudio@gmail.com.
1. Who is responsible
MisterChire Studio (“the studio”). Contact for any privacy matter: misterchirestudio@gmail.com.
2. You play as a guest: there is no account
GridBlind does not ask you to sign up, nor for an email or password. Your game is saved on your own device. The only part that leaves it is the leaderboard (see the next point).
3. Leaderboard and friends
So that you can compare yourself with other players, when you complete a map we send to our servers (Supabase): the name and character you chose, your points (total and weekly), your streak and a random identifier generated by your device (it is not linked to your email, phone or Google account).
The name and character, with your points, are visible to other players on the leaderboard; do not choose a name that reveals personal data. If you use the friends feature, we also store your friend code and the list of players you have linked with (each one sees only the others’ name, character and points).
You can delete all this data at any time from Settings → “Delete my leaderboard data”, or by writing to us.
4. What is stored on your device
This data does not leave your device and you can delete it whenever you want.
- The name you choose for your player and your character.
- Your progress: levels completed, coins, lives, power-ups, wheel and chest prizes.
- Your settings: language, sound and whether you want notifications.
- Which offers and notices you have already seen, so they are not repeated.
5. Technical data when you connect
To load the game and its levels your device connects to the internet. The providers that host the game and its content (Vercel for hosting and Supabase for levels and the leaderboard) may log technical connection data, such as the IP address, device type and date and time, only so the service works and is secure. We do not use this data to identify you.
6. In-app purchases
If you buy coins, lives or bundles, payment is handled by Google Play (or Apple’s App Store) and the purchase is validated by RevenueCat. The studio does not receive or store your card or payment account details: it only receives confirmation that the purchase was made, to deliver what you bought.
7. Ads
The game may offer you rewarded videos (you watch them if you want, in exchange for a prize). They are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising identifier and technical data to show ads and measure how they perform. If you are in the European Economic Area, the game will ask for your consent before showing personalised ads and you can change it later. You can also reset or disable the advertising identifier in your device settings.
8. Phone notifications
If you allow it, the game tells you when you get lives back. These are local notifications: your own phone schedules them, without sending data to any server. You can turn them off in the game Settings or in your device notification settings.
9. What we use the data for
The legal bases are performance of the service you use, your consent (personalised ads and notices) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
- So the game works and saves your progress on your device.
- For the leaderboard and the friends feature.
- To deliver what you buy and the prizes you win.
- To show rewarded ads, if you accept.
- To answer the queries you send us by email.
10. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. Only providers that make the service possible are involved: Vercel and Supabase (hosting, content and leaderboard), Google (Google Play and AdMob), RevenueCat (purchases) and, on iPhone, Apple. Some are outside the European Union (for example in the United States) and apply recognised safeguards for international transfers.
11. How long we keep it
Your game data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Leaderboard data stays until you delete it from the game or ask us to. Technical connection data is kept by the providers for the time set by their own policies. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to help you.
12. Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to its processing, restrict it or request portability. Write to misterchirestudio@gmail.com and we will reply within the legal period (one month at most). If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
13. Children
GridBlind is intended for people over 13. If you are under 14, use the game with the permission and supervision of your parent or guardian, especially for purchases and ads.
14. Changes to this policy
If anything changes, we will update this page and the date above, and tell you in the game when the change is important.
